Destination Christmas

Every year without a doubt Freddie and I will visit Central London to look at Christmas lights. It’s kind of now extended into stopping off in Selfridges for a pinkberry frozen yogurt, exploring Covent Garden and a possible trip into Winter Wonderland. We don’t live very far from here but we like to make a day out of it and it’s a day where we can act like tourists in our own city.

This year we started our exploration in Covent Garden.

Watched a street performance.

Had a nosey at what the shops had to offer.

Then headed off for a walk to Fortnum and Mason. Can you believe after living in London all my life, I had never been to Fortnum and Mason!?

We then walked across to Regent Street on a mission to get to our (I say our I should say my) ultimate goal, Selfridges!

Not before making a b line over to Liberty. Ever since watching Liberty London on channel 4 I’ve become obsessed with this department store.

We arrived to very little disappointment and couldn’t wait to explore the windows as we do every year.

Destination Christmas!

This year the Selfridges window’s played host to oversized Christmas gifts, the windows are to celebrate all things gifting and giving this festive season.

Oversized Dre Beats anyone?

One of my favourite perfumes oversized, yes please! Viktor and Rolf.

Champagne to get everyone into the festive spirit.

What more could a girl ask for, then an oversized Louis Vuitton handbag.

Jo Malone Cologne.

Play-Doh you can ski on!

Last but not least, a Charlotte Olympia shoe.

After oohing and arring over the window displays we ventured inside for a well deserved Pinkberry frozen yogurt then decided it was time to get back home, as my poor tired preggo feet just wouldn’t of been able to handle Winter Wonderland.

Thank you London, you did us proud this year yet again! We’ll return as a threesome next year!
