My Maternity Fashion

I pretty much needed maternity clothes as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I don’t know what happened but the moment I took that test my bump grew instantly.

It’s really difficult to find maternity clothes that are stylish, don’t make you look mumsy and are affordable. The maternity fashion I like has come from; ASOS, H&M, Topshop and New Look. So here are a few pieces I have picked up over the last 6 months of my pregnancy.

Beautysets - Maternity Fashion

1.  SOS Maternity Exclusive Midi Bodycon Dress In Lace with Scoop Neck, Now £21 I think a black lace dress is a staple for your wardrobe even when you’re not pregnant so I wanted to add this dress as soon as I found out. It’s simple but yet elegant and is the perfect dress for the festive season.
2. ASOS Maternity Exclusive Shift Dress in Speckle, £38 I am planning on wearing this dress on Christmas day. It has a speckle finish and is nice and thick to keep me warm. I also love the self tie waist detail to give my figure a bit of definition.

3.  Maternity Knitted Dress With Lace Collar, £35 I remember when Kate Middleton was preggo and she wore a very similar dress to an event, she had her hair tied back in a ponytail and the dress looked casual and perfect for a daytime or evening look paired with thick black tights and ankle boots.
4.ASOS Maternity Exclusive Legging With Elastic Waist Detail, £25 I have always had black leggings in my wardrobe and being pregnant meant that it was no exception. I love that these leggings are ultra thick and stretchy and will definitely keep me warm through winter. Paired with a chunky jumper and ankle boots would make the perfect daytime outfit.
5. ASOS Maternity Exclusive Dress In Breton Stripe With Button Shoulder, Now £21 I purchased this dress in the navy/emerald colour which is perfect for over the festive season. I love jumper dresses as they are super comfy, It’s all about being comfortable.
6. Maternity MOTO Mid Stone Leigh Jeans, £38 I must own about 4 pairs of Topshop NON maternity leigh jeans, they are super stretchy, comfortable and look good with almost everything, the maternity range of leigh jeans is no different. I am going to purchase a darker pair soon.

A few basic items above..
1. New Look 3 Pack T Shirts, £17.99 These basic t shirts are perfect for layering and have the longer sleeves for the colder months. I would advise any pregnant lady to purchase these as they come in a multi pack and are super cheap for the quality. New Look offer various different designs in their multi pack ranges.
2. ASOS Maternity 80 Denier Tights, £8 Made from stretch nylon fabric these tights offer support for your bump as well as comfort as it has an elasticated waistband. I purchased the 80 denier finish as it’s cold at the moment and staying warm is vital to me.
3. H&M MAMA Knitted jumper, £29.99 I was really struggling to find an outfit for my work Christmas party and at last minute I ran to my local H&M and purchased this knitted jumper. I love how this jumper fits my bump and it also minimises it (which is good, as my bump is HUGE) The beaded detail around the collar brings a festive vibe to the jumper.
4.  ASOS Maternity Exclusive Breton Stripe Top In Colourblock, Now £8 I purchased this casual Breton stripe t shirt to wear around the house as my casual top. I love the fabric as it is thicker than your usual t shirt material so it keeps me warm and I’m a sucker for stripes!
5. Marks and Spencer Footglove™ Suede Panelled Boots, £45 I almost had a breakdown yesterday when I was getting ready to go out, not one of my boots fit me. Pregnancy has made my feet swell so I made a mad dash to Marks and Spencer’s and purchased these ankle boots. I picked them up because they can look great with trousers or dresses and come with a little heel. The zip fastening was also a must as my bump is getting bigger I’m finding it difficult to put my shoes on. I also like the suede finish too. I purchased a half a size up from my normal size and they fit like a glove!
I love the items that I’ve purchased, but I need more! Can you recommend any maternity clothes that can get me through the last 4 months of pregnancy?
