My mum generously bought the Nikon 1 J3 as an early Christmas present for me, mainly because she wants a million photos and videos taken of her grandchild that’s soon to arrive. As soon as I was given the camera, I was itching to get out to test out all the functions. So we woke up as early as we could on Sunday, and headed out for a walk along the river.
For a compact digital camera, I am super impressed I am in love with the picture quality and how easy it is to use, I’m not as tech savvy as I’d like to be!
We fed the ducks.
Watched a bit of early morning sailing. Then continued down the tow path heading towards Teddington Lock.
Can you spot the squirrel?
Over Teddington Bridge.
We arrived in Teddington much to both of our excitement as by this point we were tired and needing some breakfast.
We stopped off in Starbucks for hot chocolates and blueberry muffins.
Then headed back by BUS! There was noway my legs could handle the walk back home. We stopped by the Kingston Christmas Market for roasted chestnuts before we headed back home.
German hot dog anyone?
I’m so happy with this camera and I cannot wait to use it more, I am also thrilled I can now take decent quality photos out in public without having to take out my massive SLR, it also means I can take sly food shots in restaurants win!
What camera do you use to take photos when you’re out and about?
