I had a search through the sales but couldn’t find anything that took my fancy. I’m going to try and stick with what I have until the baby is born hopefully.
Still the same as last week, thankfully. I’ve been amping up my lotion/oil application and have been using these products.
I love the Palmer’s coco butter oil! I use the Palmer’s lotion every morning and use the oil after my evening shower before bed. It really makes me bump super smooth and really locks in the moisture from my shower. It also helps with any stretch marks that have appeared by reducing the redness.
I’ve also been applying once a week, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse oil, it’s a multi purpose dry oil for your hair, body and face. If I fancy something more luxurious I apply this to my bump, breasts, bum and thighs instead of the Palmer’s oil and it works a treat. A little of this goes a long way.
Last but not least I’ve been suffering from dry skin especially on my hands, so I’ve started using Laura Mercier Almond Hand Moisturiser in hope it will add some moisture to my hands, if this doesn’t work I may need to go for a thicker lotion.
Sleep is so bad at the moment, I just can’t find that comfy spot. It’s so bad that it’s starting to effect Freddie’s sleep. I need a lot more room than I usually do and he’s so tall and needs a lot of room too, and on our double bed it’s just not happening. We only have 3 months left and I know it’ll only get worse but hey the no sleep is all good practice for when the baby arrives!
Best moment this week
Freddie’s feeling really big kicks and movement now, he’ll leave his hand on my belly when we’re relaxing on the sofa and he’ll feel the baby move without even needing to press hard down on the bump. It’s amazing and good bonding time for bumpy and him.
I miss exercise a lot! I don’t know whether it’s to do with it being January and losing weight is always one of my new years resolutions but I do miss the way exercise makes you feel. I’m going to start looking into work out DVDs I can do at home for when the baby is here.
Movement is crazy! My baby app mentioned that movement is going to be getting a lot stronger as there is less fluid in the stomach surrounding the baby. This is so true, I can just watch my bump move now no need for hands! I love our little routine and know exactly when he/she will wake up. I have to admit I am one of those pregnant women that talk, sing, and play music to their bumps.The baby does respond with a large kick, probably asking me to shut up!
Not so much food, but I feel thirsty all the time. I’m loving smoothies and I have a real fetish for sparkling water at the moment too.
Anything making you queasy or sick
Only the heartburn and horrible acid reflux that I just can’t seem to get rid of.

No signs of labour.
I’ve got the most horrible looking single spot on my face. It’s one of those really painful ones. I never get spots really, so I’m kinda miffed about this one.
The usual backache and shoulder pains that I am now growing used to.
I’m also starting to get puffy on my face, feet and hands especially after a long day.
Knee pain is making an appearance, my poor little knees are having to carry me as well as my baby. Freddie’s been great and offered massages most evenings.

Off, it sucks not being able to wear jewellery. I feel so plain.

Happy as I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Looking forward to
My mammoth shopping trip to Ikea on Saturday I have so much I need to get. I’ve also put together a nursery list with John Lewis which is helping us organise for the little ones arrival. I’ve been on full on nesting mode this week and have started spring cleaning the flat one room at a time. So I’m looking forward to having my home in good order. I’ve also got a midwife appointment coming up this week, it feels like a lifetime since I’ve seen my midwife so it’ll be great to have a catch up with her.
