Nuxe

After around a month worth of usage I am super pleased with my Nuxe products. I usually have oily skin, however since I’ve been pregnant my skin is so dry and needs that extra comfort of products to help bring back that all essential moisture.

Huile Prodigieuse is the perfect all purpose oil that can be used on your hair, face and body. I particularly enjoyed this oil for my breasts, bump, bum and thighs as i’m trying to prevent those dreaded pesky stretch marks. The oil contains vitamin E which is needed to help stretch marks and 6 precious plant oils that’s extremely fast absorbed into the skin. The packaging comes with that all important pump so application is very easy and not messy at all and the smell is very pleasing, a little goes a very long way. I would highly recommend this product even if you have oily skin but tend to break out in a few dry spots, a dab of this oil will help ease off that dryness, particularly after shaving or waxing.

Next up is my all time favourite lip balm, this product has been in a favourites post of mine and needs little introduction. The Reve de Miel lip balm is ultra nourishing and is made with honey and precious oils. I tend to only use this lip balm in the morning as part of my skincare routine and apply to my lips before my lipstick. No kidding, this lip balm leaves my lips nourished for the entire day. The only one negative I have is that the pot can be quite unhygienic as you have to dab your finger into it, but aslong as you have clean hands you’ll be fine.

Finally, the Nuxellence Jeunesse. This product is recommended for anti ageing, smoothing and radiance. It’s a beige coloured lotion and has that Nuxe smell as all their other products do. It left my skin feeling incredibly silky and didn’t leave any residue as it sank straight into my skin. It has that all important hyaluronic acid and is best used underneath your main moisturiser after you have cleansed and toned. I haven’t noticed a massive difference in my skin, but what I have noticed is that my skin looks healthier and more luminous, which is a major plus during these cold winter months.

If you are interested in the above products they can be reached from Nuxe using the following links below. If I had to pick out of the three it would have to be the lip balm, for its texture, smell and longevity. Nuxe products are on the pricey side but I think of it more as an investment in skincare than just a quick fix.

Huile Prodigieuse – Multi-usage Dry Oil Spray £28
Reve de Miel Lip Balm £9.50
Nuxellence Jeunesse £47
