Our Weekend #1

I live for the weekends! I spend pretty much all week waiting for those two special days we get to spend as a family but before I know it, it’s Monday morning again and Freddie’s off to work and I’m preparing for a week of baby classes, coffee mornings and general household chores. Boo!
On Friday night once Max was tucked up in bed, we did our usual have dinner, watch Celebrity Big Brother (my guilty pleasure) trying to push ourselves past 10pm but we failed miserably and ended up in bed at around the time CBB finished. Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Saturday morning came rather quickly and with hardly a wink of sleep due to Max teething we were up at the crack of dawn ready to start our day. We viewed a house which from the photos on Rightmove loved but unfortunately the location wasn’t right, although i think the property itself has major potential. Freddie doesn’t agree, so our house hunt continues. I sense this is going to be a VERY long process, we cannot agree on anything new house related!
Sunday morning and my eyes are stinging from the lack of sleep. Max’s teething means he’s waking up every 2 hours screaming, nothing will quickly settle him apart from a rock and a cuddle, which is the last thing you want to be doing at 3am. My only hope is those pesky top teeth make an appearance soon. We shall see.
We went on a mini road trip to North London to celebrate Max’s great grandmothers 93rd birthday. It was lovely to see Max and his Great Granny together as it’s only the second time they’ve met.
Max was obsessed with Great Granny Hilda’s fur and tried to eat it! Haha!

How beautiful and glamorous is Grandma Hilda!
So that’s my quick round up of our weekend. Next Sunday I’ll be writing this post from a new location as we would have made the big move to Freddie’s parents house. I’ve never moved with a baby before so I’m a tad nervous. On another note sorry if you’ve noticed my YouTube channel has come to a screeching halt, January has been a busy month trying to get organised for our move, but once we’re settled into our temporary new home there’ll be lots of vlogs coming your way!
What did you get up to this weekend? I hope everyone has a great start to the week.

Lovely weekend. I will warn you that moving with a little one is not easy but totally do-able! We moved into our house last April when Zach was a year and a half and it took us aaaaages to unpack! We got there in the end though so just don’t stress yourself out. I fell poop on Saturday with a cold but made up for it yesterday spending a lovely afternoon with some of our friends. Sad as usual to be back to work today! P.S. Grandma Hilda looks amazing! #mummymonday

Sorry if i'm posting this again not sure it worked! Hope I look that good at 93, amazing! Its so nice to get to spend that time together and it is something to look forward too. Max is looking more and more like you as he's getting older and his hairs growing, possibly longer than Amelia's. Hope the house hunt isn't toooo tedious, can only imagine. Thanks for linking up!! #MummMonday
