Our Weekend #3

I’ve always had a little soft spot for Richmond Park and bizarrely feel quite protective of those cute baby deer. The weather was almost spring like so we decided to spend most of Sunday exploring the park whilst Max snoozed away in his bugaboo (which lasted all of 45 minutes) We couldn’t of asked for better weather, the sun hit us in all the right places, the wind was subtle and the sky was blue with just a few clouds in the sky.

We walked up the hill towards the ballet school and spotted a herd of deer making their way towards the overgrowth. Max was quickly swept from his bugaboo and onto dadda’s shoulders for a better view.

With the deer stopping in our pathway we had to head back the way we came not before settling down on a bench for a much needed break (and an opportunity to fill up my camera roll with family selfies, as one does)

Walking back towards Sheen gate we decided to head home, Max needed a bottle and we were exhausted from walking. We got back home kicked off our shoes and collapsed on the sofa.
We finished the day by watching Gone Girl. Have you seen it? I was so creeped out I didn’t get to bed until 1am! Pass me the coffee!
