Our Weekend #4

On Saturday it was Valentines Day and I was gifted with the best thing a mummy could ask for, a lie in! Move over roses, chocolates, champagne and breakfast in bed all I want for Valentines is SLEEP! Freddie looked after Max downstairs whilst I woke from my slumber around 9am, bliss. We then had a few errands to run meaning we headed back to our old flat to pick up a few bits and bobs.
We then got into the car and headed to Richmond to watch Freddie play football.

It was freezing and not to mention wet, my bugaboo wheels were clogged with mud. Max didn’t seem to mind though, he happily watched his Dadda play football and got quite into the game.

After the game we raced back home to get ourselves ready for a Valentine’s Day wedding we had been invited to that evening. With Maxi tucked up in bed and left with the grandparents we jumped into the car and headed to Buckinghamshire not before taking a few selfies of my new dress from Zara. Isn’t it gorg?!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful and it was lovely catching up with old friends I hadn’t seen since having Max. I felt like such a mumma though as when it hit 10pm I was ready for bed!

Sunday was a chilled day, trying to recover from a late night and a few drinks. Max thankfully slept through so we didn’t feel so rough.

Living with the grandparents has been amazing, there’s always people around to keep Max occupied and he absolutely adores them.
We finished Sunday off with a Wagamama’s take away and a movie. I always order the chilli squid for starter and a chicken firecracker for main. Yum!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Let’s pray this week goes by quickly so we can have the weekend back! I’m off to The Baby Show on Sunday at Excel. Who’s going?
