Our Weekend #7

Saturday was by far the best weather us Brits have experienced so far this year. It was 16 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and everyone around me looked like they were about to burst with happiness! I suppose that’s what a bit of sun and warmth can do to people.
Saturday early afternoon was spent in one of my favourite pubs on Richmond Hill celebrating a good friends baby shower. She’s due a little baby boy at the beginning of May, she has the neatest bump ever. To say I’m broody is an understatement!
Saturday evening I kissed Maxi goodnight and Freddie and I headed off to the Hilton at Syon Park. We decided to leave Max with his Gramps overnight for the first time, which I was so nervous about. Our room was beautiful! It had crystals hanging from the ceiling, the bathroom had its own TV and the mini bar was fully stocked with all my favourite beverages!

Once settled in we headed to the spa and jumped straight into the jacuzzi. Unfortunately I hadn’t booked any treatments in advance, which was an ultimate FAIL. I could have murdered a full body massage! For dinner we had yummy steak and chips at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant which is conveniently located in the hotel. We then finished the night sipping on these espresso martini’s.

Waking up at 5am! I quickly grabbed my phone to check to see if I had any texts about Max. Apparently he slept like a dream and was the perfect well behaved little boy. Proud mumma alert.
To finish off our glorious stay we had one last dip in the jacuzzi, sat back in the steam room and had breakfast in bed.

We then raced home to cuddle Max, he was so excited to see us! We spent the rest of Sunday cuddling, playing and relaxing around the house. There’s nothing better than seeing your baby after a night away. Being away from Max for 24 hours made me realise how much I care and love my not so little baby, I won’t be doing it again for a very long time!
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! It was my birthday on Monday, I can’t believe I’m now 27! Eek! Freddie and Maxi took me into London, Oxford Street and we spent the day shopping finishing up in the Science Museum. I couldn’t of asked for a better day. I really do love my boys.
