I know I say this every month but SERIOUSLY what is going on and how is it already April! March was a busy month with my birthday, two family birthdays and of course Mother’s Day. I suppose when you’re busy the days go quickly, hey! This month there’s a few things I’ve been loving so I thought I would share them with you.
If you follow me on Instagram you would have noticed I’ve been wearing this backpack pretty much everyday since I got it for my birthday. I’m obsessed with it! It looks absolutely stunning on and it’s big enough to house everything I need for adventures with both the little ones. I’m so happy I went with the silver because I was seriously considering the black as I feel it’s the safer option. I think the silver will finish off any of my Spring/Summer outfits perfectly and I’m trying to stay away from black now!
Ok don’t shoot me but this month I’ve been kind of lazy with me skincare routine. How the hell are you supposed to have a full on regime when you have two under three?! I’ve been reaching for these Pixi Melting Wipes a lot and thankfully they’ve kept my skin in good order. There gentle, dissolve waterproof make up, whilst cleansing the skin. They contain a blend of chamomile and grape seed oil which makes them smell divine and also soothe your skin without causing irritation. If you’re going to use wipes to remove make up I think these are your safest bet.
Another skincare product to add to my monthly favourites. I think because of the lack of make up removal and skincare regime this month my skin has been feeling a little dry. What’s great about this mask is you only need to have it on for just 3 minutes, your skin has a quick hydration boost and left moisturised and instantly restored. It also seems to make my skin smoother and brighter.
I picked up two coasters on my trip into Anthropologie mainly because I couldn’t choose between them both. I’ve decided to use the initial coaster for little trinkets and jewellery etc and the stone coaster with gold lining for drinks. With anything from Anthropologie not only is the quality amazing but the design and uniqueness of both pieces are ones I’ll keep forever and will stand the test of time.
..and rightly called because I’m absolutely useless at my brows. Can you believe I’ve only just started filling in my brows! I know Benefit are famous for their brow products so I went straight into their concession in Westfields and the lady gave me this pencil. Honestly, this pencil is the bomb! (Do people even say say that? Ha!) It not only enhances my brows but it’s waterproof and the staying power is incredible. It has a built in spoolie which I use before filling and after and it gives my brows a natural look. The only downside to this is it’s now added on extra time to my make up routine and time is precious when you have two little ones!
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll know how much I adore this fragrance and it’s one I’ve repurchased time and time again. It’s the perfect Spring/Summer scent with its floral explosion, top notes of tea and bergamot and base notes of orchid and jasmine. It’s one I’ll wear forever and in March worn pretty much everyday.
Anthropologie ‘R’ Notebook
I’ve had this notebook for a while now but only began using it at the start of March. It’s used to pen all my blog post ideas and it also looks absolutely stunning on my new desk.
A trip into IKEA for me always means buying some kind of throw or blanket and this Month was no different. I was automatically drawn to this beautiful blue and white pattern and had ideas of using this as a picnic blanket in the garden. It not only does the job but it looks fab and is the perfect backdrop for Instagram photos too! Ha!
So that’s my monthly favourites done for the month of March. I’m thinking for my next blog post to do a toddler and baby favourites. Does that interest anyone?
