This jumper is totally out there for me, to be honest I’m shocked I even purchased it. Since having Emmie and losing the baby weight for my wedding I’ve become a lot more confident in myself and my body. This has trickled down into what I’m wearing and how confident I feel in clothes.
Pre children I loved experimenting with fashion, anyone who knows me well will know how much I adored new trends and I was always the first one to jump on a fashion bandwagon. This jumper has to be the first purchase I’ve made since having kids which is part of a trend and something I would definitely not usually wear. I love the detailing and how versatile this piece is. Today I wore it with slouchy mom jeans and trainers for a more casual look but I can also see myself wearing it in the evening paired with black skinny jeans and heels.
Unfortunately I think this jumper has now sold out on the H&M website but I’ve definitely spotted a few in a couple of stores. So if you see one grabbed it immediately!
This weeks mention goes to this beautiful mama who showcased this gorgeous jumper from New Look. This is not just any old regular jumper it’s a jumper that represents ‘Sisterhood’ which is all about women empowering other women. I kind of feel like the #whatmamaworemonday hashtag represents this. I created this hashtag not just for showcasing mum fashion but to help build a community that helps other women gain the confidence to put themselves out there, especially when we’re used to putting our children first as mums and not having time to look after ourselves. We all comment on each other’s posts, we offer words of encouragement and offer advice and support. I bloody love you ladies and thank you for making #whatmamaworemonday the amazing hashtag community it is!
