Cloud Twelve: The New Wellness Destination Everyone Needs to Know About

I’m going to have to apologise for this post in advance because it is extremely photo heavy. I visited the all new pamper destination for families called Cloud Twelve last weekend and I was so impressed I got a little snap happy on the old camera. The photo above sums up exactly how my children felt about having to leave, they were so sad and have already planned when their going back, haha!

What is Cloud Twelve?

Cloud Twelve is a one of kind wellness centre and lifestyle club in the heart of Notting Hill. The location is amazing and so quaint tucked away down a cute little mews. The club is arranged over three floors with an interactive play and learning zone for families with children, an indulgent spa, luxury salon, a brasserie that offers only plant-based milks and the yummiest cakes, there’s also a holistic wellness centre all under one roof!

Upon arrival we were greeted and shown the bespoke family area. There was a little area for the buggy and our bags and we were handed slip resistant socks to replace our shoes. I loved this little touch because it shows hygiene is important to them especially when it comes to the family area where little ones are.

The family space is where parents and children can feel inspired to play and learn together or independently. Set within a magical forest, the playground entertains, challenges the mind and stimulates the imaginations of your little ones. There’s Ofsted-registered assistants that are on hand to take care of the children and a comfortable lounge area for adults to sit back and enjoy a coffee.

The toilets are well equipment for little ones needs with Fifi and Friends products, little toilets made especially for children and really cool hand washing buckets – which the kiddies loved might I add. Going back into the family space there were plenty for areas for the kids to get involved in. The crafts room had an abundance of materials to choose from including a really cool chalk table, glass jars full of glitters, paint and nic-nacs.

We then left the little ones in the safe hands of the nursery assistants and headed to the brasserie upstairs for coffee and cake.

The brasserie offers guilt-free, organic, plant-based food and milk. There’s also small-plate Spanish tapas and Middle Eastern mezzes on offer. The menu is designed by legendary Stu Henshall, founder of The Alternative Kitchen. There’s also a wide range of teas, smoothies, tonics, organic wine and champagnes!

Once we had refreshed with our coffees and cake we headed into the salon area for our treatments. I went for a blow-dry which included the most wonderful head massage, all with Aveda products too. Freddie went and indulged in a much-needed pedicure and once I had finished up with my hair I joined him for a manicure. The salon decor is something out of a dream, from the armchairs to the pillows, it is Pinterest heaven!

Once our treatments were finished we headed back to the crèche to spy on the kiddies before we collected them and  it was adorable seeing them play so nicely together and from what we could see the nursery assistants were extremely engaging. We were a bit worried they would cause havoc in what is a very peaceful crèche but the nursery assistants said they had been an absolute pleasure. Phew!

Overall, our experience of Cloud Twelve was a pleasurable one. The staff were absolutely amazing and the club itself is such a fabulous idea. As busy parents, little sanctuaries like this are much needed especially as our lives can be so stressful, often forgetting about ourselves and our health and wellness. I would 100% sign up if you’re after a wellness/lifestyle club that includes classes for your child from baby ballet to cooking and crafts, inclusive crèche services, a salon, spa and so much more.

What are your thoughts on wellness and lifestyle clubs for families?

* We were invited by Cloud Twelve as guests. As always all my opinions and views are my own.
