The Autumn Winter collections for this year is looking so good! I can’t even explain to you how excited I am. Autumn definitely is one of my favourite seasons for dressing. The layering, the coats, boots, just everything! I do find it harder to dress in the colder months mainly because a lot of outfits require styling it’s not easy like the summer months where you just throw on a dress and sandals and you’re good to go! But that isn’t something that’s going to put me off because there’s nothing better than wrapping up warm in a gorgeous cosy coat and chunky knit.
I thought I would share my must have pieces for Autumn Winter 2018. Expect lots of animal print, camel, dresses and coats!
The Zip Belted Denim Jumpsuit by Warehouse
I think it’s safe to say the 70s denim jumpsuits are back and I couldn’t be any happier. Perfect for both evening and daytime and so versatile. A piece that will stand the test of time
Camel will always be a staple item in my wardrobe. It’s a colour that will stay on trend and make any outfit look classic and chic. Cosy polo neck? Yes please!
If you’re after boots that are inexpensive, on trend and in a gorgeous burgundy colour then these are the boots for you. Perfect to style with maxi dresses, mini dresses, trousers the list is endless.
Everyone needs a teddy coat in their wardrobe this season. I love wearing mine in a relaxed fashion with boots, black leggings, slouchy knit and big sunnies.
M&S seem to be killing it on the dresses front at the moment. This mustard colour is absolutely stunning and the fabric is to die for. If you’re after a dress that is super versatile and can be worn dressed down or up then this is the one for you.
It isn’t Autumn/Winter without a faux leather skirt. I love wearing mine with jazzy tights, ankle boots and a chunky knit for that extra layer of cosiness.
I really didn’t want to jump on the corduroy trend this season because I find this type of material quite clunky on my petite frame however I tried on the perfect pair from Zara and now I’m hooked! Corduroy is one of those fabrics that stands the test of time so invest where you can you will be re wearing it year after year.
Another classic outfit that once you make the initial investment you won’t look back. Think of all the ways you can style a trouser suit with heels, trainers, boots, wearing just the blazer with a pair of jeans the list is endless.
…and last but not least a silk scarf. This season a scarf seems to be the ‘it’ item to own, again multiple ways of wearing one. The obvious one being around your neck but you can also jazz up your hair and use it to tie your ponytail. You could even tie it around your handbag. This scarf is from H&M and is 100% silk, the pattern is stunning.
